Some time ago now I read this great interview with Warren Buffett. He had something to say about the future of the US economy (of course) and I totally agreed with him……
“There are 4 million people hitting age 22 years in this country. Sure, you can double up on households for a while, but at some point, hormones kick in, and living with your in-laws loses its allure.”
If there’s a nation and a culture that is programmed to find a solution it’s the US, ok so it’s not the whole of the country but my bet is they figure out ways with the internet faster than most others. It’s going to be an interesting journey to get a feel for how South Africa innovates and deals with the changes in traditional jobs and economies.
