I loved reading this article by Derek Sivers on Moving to Los Angeles. I had no idea they drew a circle around all those neighbourhoods for tax reasons but it makes total sense.
My own experience living in a neighbourhood of this city touched on almost each point he raises but most of all I remember being overwhelmed by how everyone played a part in the movie industry.
